Safety Policy

The short version: we don't collect your personal information. No accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking by us. It's just a fun toy that runs in your browser.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. The site runs entirely in your browser. We don't run our own analytics and we don't set our own cookies.

Sound & speech

The voice that reads the fun facts and the silly sound effects are generated right in your browser (text-to-speech and the Web Audio API). Nothing is recorded, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Offline & caching

If you add the site to your home screen or come back again, your browser may store a copy of the app (a “service worker” cache) so it loads fast and even works offline. That cache lives on your device — it isn't personal information and it isn't sent to us.

Links to other sites

Some character cards include a shopping link to Amazon, and the footer has a “buy a coffee” link to PayPal. If you tap those, you'll be taken to Amazon or PayPal, and their own privacy policies apply there. As an Amazon Associate we may earn from qualifying purchases (also noted in the footer).

Sharing

The “Share” button uses your device's built-in share feature. We don't see what you share or who you share it with.

Children's safety

This site is made to be friendly for kids, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. We never ask for names, emails, or logins.

Advertising

We do not currently show ads.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above will always show the latest version.
